The term "digital product" refers to paid digital product or services from Prothoma via its website www.prothoma.com
- About Digital Products
You are required to purchase a subscription or product to access www.prothoma.com content and services.
Prothoma reserves the right to modify the content, type and availability of digital product at any time.
Only one person may use the user name and password associated with a digital product account.

- Processing and Payment
Prothoma will process your purchase as promptly as possible. There may be a delay in the activation of your product while payment details are verified.
Your payment is processed by SSLCOMMERZ which provides end-to-end secure online payment gateway services to www.prothoma.com to transact and accept payments online and in real time. Currently SSLCOMMERZE accepts payments through various mode including major credit cards, debit cards, internet banking, mobile banking and certain digital wallet services.
We reserve the right to reject any order or purchase at any time.
If your initial payment authorization is later revoked, your subscription, product or access will be terminated. Contact our Customer Care if you believe your access was terminated in error.
Unless specified otherwise in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, all charges are nonrefundable.
When you purchase a digital product, the price will be made clear during the order process. You agree to pay the price that is stated at the time of your order, as well as any applicable taxes. You also agree to the billing frequency stated at the time of your order.
Discount eligibility is determined at the time of the order. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
Prothoma reserves the right to change prices and fees at any time.
If a stated price is determined by us in our sole discretion to be in error, we are not under any obligation to offer you the product at that price. We will notify you of the error and give you the opportunity to cancel your order and obtain a refund if payment has already been made.
- Additional Costs
Your subscription may not include access to all areas of the digital product, and you may have to pay additional fees for full access. These additional charges will be clearly stated.
When you use your digital product, you may incur other additional charges from third party service providers, such as telecommunications fees, data fees or service provider fees. You are responsible for paying any additional charges.
If you believe someone else has used your account or you are being charged for a product you do not have, please contact our Customer Care .
We will charge or debit your payment method at the beginning of your subscription or, if applicable, at the end of your free trial period. Billing will continue according to the cycle stated at the time of your order.

The currency in which you will be billed will be stated during the purchase process and is determined based on your country of access.
If you have chosen to pay through a continuous billing method such as credit card continuous service or direct debit, then unless you notify us before the end of your subscription period that you no longer wish to renew your subscription, your subscription will renew for another period. We will charge for the subscription using the same card or other payment method that you previously used. We will notify you in advance of any changes to the price in your subscription that will apply upon renewal.
For all other subscriptions, we will send you an email or notice letting you know when your subscription is close to ending (unless you have already told us that you wish to cancel your subscription). We will also ask you whether you would like to renew your subscription. If you fail to respond to these notices or you fail to pay your renewal invoice, your subscription will expire on its end date.
When you register, you are registering as a personal user of www.prothoma.com. Access to registration areas is via your email address and password.
We allow you access to the registration areas of the site on the basis that:
- Your email address and password are personal to you and may not be used by anyone else to access www.prothoma.comand you have completed 18 (Eighteen) years of age. If not, your registration shall be subject to your Guardian approval for usage by you
- You will not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain access to any registration area of www.prothoma.com
- You do not create additional registration accounts for abusing the functionality of the site, or other users; nor do you seek to pass yourself off as another user
- You comply with these terms and conditions
If, for any reason, we believe that you have not complied with these requirements, we may, at our discretion, cancel your access to the registration areas of www.prothoma.com and without giving you any notice.
- Termination of Account
You can also terminate your account at any time, but your information may remain stored in archive on our servers even after the deletion or the termination of your account.
- Limitations of Content

You will be responsible for all claims, liabilities, damages, cost and expenses suffered or incurred as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions.
Prothoma will not be responsible to you for any loss or damage suffered by your business, such as lost data, lost profits or any business interruption.
To the full extent permitted by law you acknowledge and agree that our third party content and data suppliers have no liability whatsoever to you in respect of any of their data supplied to you as part of the Prothoma Content.
- Unpaid Charges
If your credit card expires or your payment method is otherwise invalid, your subscription or product will not automatically be terminated. You will remain responsible for all charges.
You will be responsible for all costs we incur in connection with the collection of unpaid amounts, including court costs, attorneys' fees, collection agency fees and any other associated costs.
We may occasionally offer promotions. The specific terms of each promotion are stated at the time the promotion is offered. Each promotion may be different. Promotions cannot be combined.
You are required to provide your payment details when you sign up for a promotion. At the end of the promotion, your subscription will automatically renew at the rates displayed at the time of purchase.
- CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
16.1Cancellation and Refunds of Digital Subscriptions
Purchases cannot be refunded. We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.
16.2Changes to Content or Access
We reserve the right to make changes to our digital products at any time. If we temporarily reduce or eliminate the charge for content or access that you are currently paying for under different terms, you will not receive a refund.
16.3Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription or product for any reason, with or without notice and without further obligation. You will not be entitled to a refund in these circumstances. If any or all our digital products are temporarily unavailable, you will not receive a refund. We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.
